西元1979 年的英文怎麼說

(1) 分成「前二後二」來讀：nineteen seventy-nine

(2) 依位數順序來讀（千位→百位→十位→個位）：nineteen hundred (and) seventy-nine

(3) 年代的讀法則直接將年份字尾加 s 即可，例如 1970 讀作nineteen–seventies

2021→twenty twenty-one or two thousand (and) twenty-one

英文電話號碼讀法

1227→one double two (or two two) seven 「遇到重覆的數字可以使用double這各字帶過」

1023 → one O two three (英文中的0通常念oh就可以了，當然要念zero也是可以)

0915-888-666 → O nine one five triple eight triple six「三個數字相同的使用triple」or O nine one five eight eight eight six six six

$5.25 →five dollars (and) twenty-five ( cents)

小數點英文怎麼說

14.21 →fourteen decimal (point) two one

0.23 → zero point two three

加減乘除算式英文怎麼說

2+5=7→ Two plus five is seven. = Two plus five equals seven. = Two plus five is equal to seven.

8-3=5→Eight minus three is equal to five.

5×2=10→Five times two is ten. or Five by two are ten.

9÷3=3→Nine divided by three makes three.

數字當作主詞時，視為「單數」，算式中，加法與乘法用單複數動詞均可，減法與除法則多用單數動詞。

英文加法

Two and two is/are four=Two and two make/makes four. 二加二等於四。

如果「加」用plus則需使用單數動詞。→Two plus two is four.

Ten plus five is fifteen. 10加5等於15。10＋5=15

英文減法

Ten minus two leaves eight.十減二等於八。 

Six minus four leaves two. 六減四等於二。

Twenty-five minus seven leaves eighteen. 二十五減七等於十八。25-7=18

英文乘法

Three times three is/are nine.= Three times three equals/equal nine. 三乘三等於九。3×3=9

乘法中的「乘」若用multiplied by ，則使用單數動詞。→Three multiplied by three equals nine.

Six times six is thirty-six. 六乘六等於三十六。6×6=36

英文除法怎麼說

Ten divided by five equals two. 十除以五等於二。10÷5=2 

One hundred divided by ten is ten. 一百除以十等於十。100÷10=10

七是奇數 Seven is an odd number.

六是偶數Six is an even number.
