定義：which(哪一個)具有選擇性，故之後的物品至少為兩件或兩件以上，連接詞為or，回答者必須從發問者所提供的選項中，選出一項作答。如果問句選項為兩樣東西，則受詞可以both代替；如果為三樣或以上者，則受詞可用all代替。 

1which 可當疑問代名詞，用來詢問「哪一個」，選項須用對等連接詞 or（或者）連接。      

Which do you want, an apple or a guava?（你想要哪個，蘋果或是番石榴？） 

which 也可當形容詞，後接名詞，用來詢問「哪個……？」。 

Which girl is your daughter, the tall one or the short one?（哪個女孩是你的女兒，高個子的還是矮個子的？）

回答 which 的問句時，需依照問句所提供的選項來回答。

Belle: I like the red pen.（我喜歡紅色的筆。）
          I like the black pen.（我喜歡黑色的筆。）
          I like both.（我兩個都喜歡。）  I don’t like both. (我兩的都不喜歡。)
